Paul Rees



Having built an international reputation, with agents in the USA and London. Two years with fashion photographer Jon Bishop. A five-year stint as a freelance assistant further defined and shaped his future and career. Working with such luminaries as James Wedge and Ray Massey, Paul honed his skills in all areas of photography, including landscape, fashion, interiors and Automotive, in locations both at home and abroad. A further year was spent working with Commercials Director, David James at Pinewood Studios England. As a photographer Paul has worked with high-profile clients included Saatchi and Saatchi, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Sony, BA, Bang & Olufsen, Apple, Microsoft and Song. His work has also appeared in quality magazines, such as the Sunday Times, Guardian, Creative Review, Esquire, GQ.

Paul has won four Association of Photography awards, his images going on to exhibit worldwide. As well as commercial commissions, Paul has worked for a number of charities, his work acknowledged in the D&AD Awards, which set industry standards for creativity and innovation.

Between July 2013 and June 2014 Paul has been in Los Angeles studying filmmaking and has successfully written and directed a fund-raising pitch/teaser for a one hour-special, documentary on the world Land-Speed record attempt. The teaser won a film award in December 2014 (Association of Photographers- Independent Short-Best in Category.
